The Surfside Beaumaris is in the perfect location on Tasmania’s East Coast. It’s located right on the beach with easy access and splendid views across the ocean.

A list of some of the amazing highlights within a short drive of us include – St Helens Mountain Bike Park, Scamander and Beaumaris Beach, a whole heap of surf spots, and a little place called The Bay of Fires.

The Surfside is surrounded by things to do. The St Helens Mountain Bike Park and its amazing network of trails is 5 minutes away. The stunning Bay of fires, with its incredible beaches is 15 minutes away. Our stretch of coast is home to so many great surf spots, and you can check the surf from our deck.

Beers . We have a lovely little bar on site, with an oceanside deck being the perfect place to enjoy one of the many Tasmanian beers we stock. It’s not all about beer though; our bar is also stocked with all sorts of Tassie treats including Gins, Vodka and Whiskey.

Burgers. We serve up a simple menu of American style delicious burgers coming hot out of our kitchen. Spend the day surfing, riding the trails, enjoying beach walks, swimming or relaxing. We cannot think of a better way to fill your belly than with a really good burger in the sun.

Beds. Clean, comfortable, affordable accommodation in our self-contained Queen, Triple, Twin, or Family rooms, along with our group room for when you all want to ride the trails. We offer motel style accommodation on site, in one of the best locations the area has on offer.

Beachy and relaxed, we have a bar and kitchen on site, serving up really good quality food and drinks, in a casual way and at good prices. We believe in quality, without it being complicated.

At The Surfside we believe pretty strongly in Tasmanian produce, so expect to see lots of Tasmanian products coming out of the kitchen and Bar.

Tassie beers, with some great craft beer offerings, along with great Tasmanian wines, ciders and spirits, in a relaxed atmosphere. That is what we have happening in the bar. You can take in the view from our deck, relax by the wood fire, have a game of pool, or soak in the sun on the grass.

You may have guessed by now, but in our kitchen, we are all about Burgers. We think that a simple burger, done the right way, is the perfect way to fill the belly! Lunchtime? Burger! Dinner after a big day of activities? Yeah let’s get a burger. Come and try one, because we reckon, they are pretty good.
